Medium temperatures - fit into GEMINI R cavity These cells are suitable for the medium temperature cavities, and retain the full 65mm diameter. The cells contain 99.9999% purity metal giving a freeze or melt curve flat to ±0.01°C. The results, as seen by a radiation pyrometer, which are slightly sensitive to wall temperature, give an uncertainty of ±0.25°C. Easy replacement allows one piece of apparatus to work with any of the 4 cells. For smaller beam radiation pyrometers, orifice plates are available to reduce the aperture diameter to 50mm, 40mm, 30mm, 20mm or 10mm.
